Almost 3 out of 4 candidates (73.4%) of the Panhellenic Examinations from GEL and EPAL received their scores with a message on their mobile phone, the Ministries of Digital Governance and Education state in a joint announcement.
Specifically, 63,980 candidates out of the 87,150 who participated in total, even in a nationwide exam course, made use of the possibility of information via SMS text message that for the second year was implemented by the two ministries.
The process was completed with complete success, as the messages were sent and delivered within 5 minutes, in parallel with the posting the results in the school units and the implementation of the Ministry of Education results.it.minedu.gov.gr.
The possibility of information via text message was ensured for the first time in 2021, through a special application of the Ministry of Education and Religions smsresults.minedu.gov.gr in the Unified Digital Portal of Public Administration gov.gr, as announced by the Ministers of Education and Religions Niki Kerame and Digital Governance Kyriakos Pierrakakis.
The application was developed by the National Network of Technology and Research Infrastructures – EDYTE SA (GRNET), Agency of the Ministry of Digital Governance, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Digital Systems, Infrastructure and Examinations of the Ministry of Education and Religions, in the framework of the Digital Transformation of Education.
