Fractures of the face more severe on the right side, intracerebral hematoma and skull fracture on the sides of the head are the findings of the forensic report for 42-year-old who was beaten wildly outside a club in Rafina.
According to information, the medical examiner’s report has already been sent to ELAS, while the injuries inflicted by the victim were so serious that they led to his death.
For the murder of the 42-year-old two 24-year-olds have been arrested who admitted their involvement in the beating. According to police sources in the testimony they gave to the police officers, they denied that they had beaten him iron fist and that they had set up a caravel outside the bar.
«I have never had such an object (iron fist) “testified one of the two defendants, while when he was asked to describe minute by minute what happened that fateful night, he stated that the 42-year-old pushed them twice while they were having fun. One of the company (the company consisted of 5 people) asked the 42-year-old if he has a problem and then -according to his testimony always- the 42-year-old pushed him and grabbed him by the neck.
According to the alleged perpetrator, then intervened in order to separate them and seeing his friend threatened. He even referred to two people who worked in the bar who came in the middle to avoid a quarrel and removed both him and his friend.
He then described to the police the moment he re-entered the store, paid and the five decided to leave.
While they were away from the store he testified that:
“I had forgotten my cigarettes and entered the store. My company had moved away from the store. As I was leaving…. -means the victim- with a friend of his who was wearing a white shirt and another in dark clothes,… approached me. -means the victim- grabbed me by the neck and pushed me. “Then he punched me in the head and then I retaliated.”
In his testimony he stated that at this point the other arrested also intervened in order to help him by punching the 42-year-old.
“We left and I went home. When I learned that… – he says the name of the 42-year-old – was dead, I did not believe it, I was shocked. The blows we exchanged were not so serious “
