A meeting under Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis was held at the Maximos Palace for the implementation of the Pyrgos (Alfeios River) – Kalo Nero – Tsakona road axis.
During the meeting, the prospects for the implementation of the project were examined and the necessary directions were given in order to immediately start the necessary studies by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport with the final goal of its financing in the next period.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Kostas Karamanlis, the Minister of State, responsible for the coordination of the Government Project, Akis Skertsos, the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, responsible for Infrastructure, Giorgos Karagiannis, the Regional Governor of Western Greece, Nektarios Farmakis, the Regional Governor of Peloponnese, Panagiotis Nikas, the MPs of New Democracy in Messinia, Lambropoulos Ioannis, Chrysomallis Miltos, Mantas Periklis as well as the MPs of New Democracy in Ilia, Avgerinopoulou Dionysia and Nikolakopoulos Andreas. It is recalled that the former Prime Minister and Member of Parliament for Messinia of the New Democracy, Antonis Samaras, has always shown a personal interest in this particular project.
