Arrests of doormen for knives and globes in nightclubs and non-issuance of receipts were among other things the authorities caught during inspections of Athens nightclubs.
Knife and globes discovered that they had hidden doormen during their checks in a night club in Athens.
Five people were arrested and eight were brought during targeted checks by the Extortion Prosecution Department of the Attica Security Directorate in night clubs, which took place in the early hours of Sunday, July 3, in the center of Athens.
At the same time, police officers from the Economic Police Directorate, the Sub-Directorate of Patrols, the Crime Suppression Prevention Team and the Municipal Police of the Municipality of Athens also participated in this particular operation.
According to ELAS, as part of the spontaneous procedure, 2 people, who were temporarily in charge of the same number of stores, were arrested for violating the seal set by the Authority and disturbing the peace.
In addition, 3 porters were also arrested, because they had hidden a collapsible metal rod and a knife in the reception area.
It is noted that a total of 8 centers and 52 people were checked, while a total of 8 were brought.
At the same time, in a shop it was found that receipts totaling 1,000 euros had not been issued, while 6 employees were also found who were not registered on the staff list.
As ELAS points out, the controls will continue with undiminished intensity.
