Kato Patisia: Video – document from the clash

A new video document from the moment of the bloody episode in Patisia, with a tragic account of three dead and three injured, is brought to light by ERT.

An eyewitness describes the moments of terror he experienced when the shooting began.

The ELAS investigations into the circumstances under which it took place are ongoing the deadly clash on Saturday night in Kato Patisiaas a result of which three people lost their lives and three others were injured.

THE THE GREEK POLICE reports that a man started the shooting and fatally injured one person. He then stole a vehicle and headed towards Democracy Avenue in Agioi Anargyrou.

Later, officers who spotted him in the area tried to check on him, as he matched the description they had of the shooter, and that’s when he started shooting. The two policemen were wounded and he fell dead in the exchange of fire.

What an eyewitness reported

An eyewitness, reported how heard about 6-7 gunshots and how he saw a young man with a gun in his hand stop a black SUV, pull the driver out and disappear.
