Death of 14-year-old girl in Volos: Grandparents erupt – She was not scratched

The Volos prosecutor ordered a preliminary examination into the causes of death of 14-year-old Eleni, who plunged Volos into mourning. The girl fought for 6 months at the Hippocrates Hospital in Thessaloniki.

Her relatives bid her farewell, dressed as a bride, showering her with flowers. Speaking to Mega, the 14-year-old’s grandfather said: “He went to take a bath and slipped and fell on his head. Out of objection they told us… I don’t know much… we are bad…”.

The 14-year-old on January 4, according to her relatives, fell and hit the bathtub, with her parents taking her unconscious to the Volos hospital, initially reporting that she was electrocuted while taking a bath…

The doctors initially diagnosed aspiration, intubated her and then she was transferred to Hippocrates Hospital in Thessaloniki, where she was in a coma for six months.

“We saw her inside the hospital, she could hear us talking, her eyes were watering, she was crying… she couldn’t answer… her skull was broken” added the 14-year-old’s grandfather.

Mystery with the scratches on the neck

According to information, the 14-year-old had abrasions on her face and neck, which raise many questions about her death with the circumstances of the accident in the bathroom remaining unclear. The girl’s grandmother, who was by her side, denied that the girl had bruises.

“Nothing. The girl had no scratches or anything, everyone is lying. I spent 20 days with her in the hospital, it was 6 months, I think 7” he said, while the grandfather of the 14-year-old also supported the same.

Eleni was a happy girl who loved to upload videos on social media. The death of the 14-year-old plunged the entire Aliveri of Nea Ionia into mourning, while her friends said goodbye to her on social media.
