What taxi drivers interested in replacing their old vehicle need to know
The deadline for the replacement of ETX – TAXI vehicles with new vehicles is extended until December 31, 2022, by Circular of the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, responsible for Transport Mr. Michalis Papadopoulos, for the cases of TAXI cars that should have been replaced by on December 31, 2021.
The extension entails the possibility of circulation and technical inspection of the existing vehicles until the above date and is granted under the following conditions:
– There must be an Order Form for the new vehicle that is dated up to 12/31/2021
– There must be a relevant Advance Payment Invoice dated up to 12/31/2021
The above extension was deemed necessary given the delays observed in the deliveries of new vehicles in recent months.
For the same reason, with another Decision of the Deputy Minister of Transport, regarding the E.D.X. replacement program. TAXI cars based in the South Aegean Region with passenger vehicles from six (6) to nine (9) seats, a six-month extension is provided for the registration deadline for new vehicles.
In particular, the beneficiaries of E.D.X. TAXI car from six (6) to nine (9) seats in the name of which relevant decisions have been issued by the Region, have the possibility within an exclusive period of twelve (12) months, from the six (6) months that were in force, from the date of issue of this, to register and put this car into circulation.
