Two new incidents of violence between minors occurred, one in Saint Barbara yesterday evening and the other on Tuesday at Transformation.

According to ELAS – regarding the incident at Saint Barbara-, four minors (two 17-year-olds and two 16-year-olds) approached two 15-year-olds both with verbal threats and under the threat of using a knife that they stated they possessed, they had their cell phones taken away and various personal belongings and then ran away.

The two 15-year-olds immediately reported the incident to the police, and after searches by DIAS police officers, the four perpetrators were located and arrested.

As a result of the investigation, the 2 stolen mobile phones and 2 stun cartridges were found on them and confiscated.

In Transformation on Perikleous street, a 17-year-old was taken to Gennimatas hospital after being hit on the head by minors. In fact, one of the minors did not hesitate to hit him and with an iron fist they knock the 17-year-old to the ground.

In his testimony, the 17-year-old indicated as the instigator a 13-year-old who was arrested while a case file was also filed against his 38-year-old mother for neglecting the supervision of a minor.
