The intervention of the LifeguardVolos team was a lifesaver – they took the child out of the sea and stopped the bleeding
Fortunate in his misfortune stood one boy aged 11 years at the pier of Alykon in Bulletwhen he hit his head very badly after diving into the sea.
The incident was noticed immediately by members of the LifeguardVolos team, with the lifeguard immediately rushing to the scene and pulling the child out of the sea, finding multiple head injuries.
In one of the wounds, it was found that a metal object had been nailed to the child’s head, at a depth of at least three centimeters.

The announcement states:
“A serious incident of injury to an 11-year-old happened today at 1:30 p.m. at the pier of Alykes. The crew of the LifeguardVolos boat and the lifeguard on the beach noticed it immediately, they found multiple injuries on the head of the 11-year-old, in one of which a metal object of at least 3 cm was embedded, they cleaned the injured, stopped the bleeding, immobilized and moved the victim to a shaded place where has access to the ambulance which the young victim received, congratulating him on the treatment and first aid provided by LifeguardVolos lifeguards Liaros Lampros Rafaelidi Maria and Filippatou Christina, we hope everything goes well for the young man!”
