The authorities arrested the 83-year-old while a case is being filed against him for domestic violence and possession of weapons.

A foreigner was arrested yesterday (07.09.2022) in the area of the Municipality of Platanias, by officers of the Platanias Police Department, a foreigner accused of violations of the Legislation on weapons and domestic violence.
In particular, police officers of the above service went to a house in connection with an incident of domestic violence where they identified the foreigner.
Upon their arrival, his foreign partner handed over to the police:
- Military rifle with its magazine, with integrated diopter and laser mechanism,
- Two (2) pistols with their magazines,
- Two (2) revolvers,
- “Machete” type knife and
- 646 cartridges of different types and calibers
- Which were in their shared home and illegally belonged to the foreigner and were confiscated.
