Regarding the new pandemic wave, Mr. Pleuris emphasized that it is reaching its peak, there have been no serious hospitalizations and the number of intubated patients remains under control.
He estimated that in the next 20 days there will be a pressure on the National Health System in simple Covid and non-Covid beds and that is why more beds are being developed in the Attica basin. He assured that the situation is manageable, mainly because this pressure is not transferred to the ICU beds.
