At the 424 Military Hospital of Thessaloniki, around one in the afternoon, two of the injured from the traffic accident that occurred last night, at the 62nd km of the new highway Thessaloniki – Neo Petritsiou, in Kilkis, were treated with the involving three vehicles and a pack of wild boarsand resulted in them losing their lives two people.

According to information, around 2 am, they were (initially) taken to Kilkis hospital a total of seven people, two of which resulted. Three of the wounded, including a woman from North Macedonia signed and left, while the other two wounded, who are in a stable condition, were transferred to 424.

In the meantime, the preliminary investigation of the Kilkis Traffic Police regarding the circumstances of the triple traffic accident is ongoing. As it became known, initially a patrol car driven by a 42-year-old police officer and two of his colleagues, 44 and 36 years old, collided with a passing herd of wild boars, causing it to run off its course.

Then, a vehicle with a 56-year-old foreign driver (a citizen of North Macedonia) and a 50-year-old female passenger collided with a wild boar, causing it to veer off course and overturn in a field. Subsequently, another car, with a 53-year-old local driver and a 48-year-old passenger, collided with the patrol car, while its two passengers were recovered from the wreckage of the third vehicle with fatal injuries.

And according to the latest information from EL.AS., from the fierce conflict five wild boars were also killed.
