Halkidiki: And aircraft in the search in the search for Martin

An aircraft of the Thessaloniki Aeroclub is today “into battle” by OFKATH, as part of the investigations to locate it 32-year-old Martin from North Macedonia, missing for the 5th day in a row, reports the thestival.gr.

“We are deploying a private aircraft at the request of the family in order to do aerial work and locate the missing person. The aircraft will search even off the coast of Volos”, conveyed the president of the OFKATH Volunteer Rescue Team, Christos Ramos.

Speaking about the investigations, Mr. Ramos explained that “today we will go to rugged places, such as the beach in Canister and the Baths of Agia Paraskevi”.

He also emphasized that “we will keep searching until the child is found”.

Ivan was discharged yesterday

A 30-year-old man was discharged yesterday (12/7). Ivanthe tourist from North Macedonia who was missing for at least 20 hours in Halkidiki.

The 30-year-old was found on Saturday (9/7) approximately 14 nautical miles southwest of Kassandra, while he had been missing since the previous day, having dived at “Myti” beach in Poseidi.

In a few hours, however, he is expected to be released from the Papanikolaou Hospital where he was transferred after his recovery, while according to information he is in excellent condition.

We remind you that Ivan, together with two of his friends, a 25-year-old and a 32-year-old visited Halkidiki for their vacation, while one of the young men also had his birthday.

They dived at “Myti” beach and were carried away by the waves, causing them to be lost in the sea. However, the 25-year-old was found a few hours later, 30-year-old Ivan was found the next day, while 32-year-old Martin is still missing.
