The “microscope” of the prosecutorial authorities of Thessaloniki has entered the complaint brought to light by that woman asked for a “starter” 3500 euros from a relative of a patient with coronavirus at the “Agios Pavlos” hospital in Thessaloniki, in order to provide him with a bed in the Intensive Care Unit.
The head of the Thessaloniki Prosecutor’s Office instructed the criminal prosecution to order a preliminary examination by the Security to first establish the validity of the complaint and if it turns out that it is true to take immediate action to identify the woman and check who. The offense that will be investigated is that of trafficking-influence (the old law on intermediaries).
He confirmed the complaint with his statements to SKAI the commander of the “Agios Pavlos” hospital Odysseas Katsakas. According to him, the complainant is a police officer, who claimed that the woman was introduced as an “imperative” health worker and that she allegedly knows things and situations in order to secure a bed in the ICU, otherwise the patient will die.
