Concerned parents-guardians have the right to lodge an objection against the temporary boards within three days
Posted today, Friday July 15, 2022, the temporary infant and toddler assessment and selection tables which will be hosted in the 26 childcare centers of the Public Employment Service (DYPA) for the school year 2022-2023 on the DYPA website www.dypa.gov.gr.
According to a related announcement, this year they were submitted in total 3,137 applications, setting a record number and registering a +37% increase compared to last year.
The concerned parents-guardians have the right to submit an objection against the temporary tables within three days, namely from Saturday 16 July to Monday 18 July.
Objections are submitted directly to the nurseries, via e-mail, with attached supporting documents documenting their claims.
The accommodation of infants-toddlers is free of charge. DYPA’s privately owned nurseries operate from September 1 to July 31, from 6:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday) and are aimed at infants and toddlers from 6 months to 4 years. As mentioned in the announcement, a daily program of creative work is implemented for the harmonious psychosomatic and educational development of the children.
The selection criteria are economic (with priority given to children with low-income parents) and social (children with many children, orphans, children from single-parent families, children with disabilities, etc.).
Beneficiaries is the parent, parents or guardians (guardians, guardians, etc.) of beneficiary children, who:
– during the years 2021-2022, completed a total of 25 days of insurance in the eEFKA and/or special provision of maternity protection and/or regular unemployment subsidy and/or long-term unemployment subsidy or
– are registered in the DYPA’s Unemployment Register for at least two months on the deadline for submitting applications, or
– are beneficiaries of the unemployment benefit for self-employed insured persons (s. OAEE, S. ETAP-MME, S. ETAA).
