Michalis Stellatos, president of workers of the “Agios Andreas” hospital, spoke on the show “Society Hour MEGA”.
“He complained of chills and neck pain. He had been to a private doctor, had been diagnosed with chills and had been on medication. A person with chest pain also came to the same nurse, a doctor was called and the necessary steps were taken,” he said about the 49-year-old.

When asked why there was no doctor, he said it was a malfunction of the National Health System due to the understaffing of the hospitals.
He emphasized that there were 20 doctors at the hospital at that time and not 70, as the Ministry of Health had reported. “The hospital administrator was crippled, the problem was not solved. Four to five days have passed and on days when the hospital is not on duty there is no doctor on duty,” he said.
