It is announced that, according to the decision of the Imathia Police Department, temporary traffic regulations will be implemented in a section of Egnatia Road in Imathia, due to the passage of a train of oversized trucks transporting overweight and bulky loads.
In particular, vehicle traffic will be stopped on the highway, from the uneven junction of Veria (km 253) to the uneven junction of Polymylos (km 227), in the traffic flow towards Kozani.
The traffic arrangements will be applied during the hours of the train crossing, which is calculated approximately from 7.30 to 08.45 and will take place on the following dates:
Tuesday, July 19, 2022,
Thursday, July 21, 2022 and
Tuesday, July 26, 2022.
Vehicular traffic will be conducted through the new regional road Veria – Naoussa, then vehicles will enter the provincial road Veria – Edessa – Drepanou and finally they will enter Egnatia Odos from the Koilon Kozani uneven junction.
In addition, during the passage of the above train, in the section of Egnatia Road from the uneven junction of Kliidi to the uneven junction of Veria, vehicle traffic will be conducted from the one (left) traffic lane.
