The guarantee fund for micro and small companies launched by Banrisul with Sebrae-RS in December granted R$67.3 million in credit in the first six months in around 1,700 operations, according to the institution.
According to the bank, the services registered businesses in search of survival, but also companies with expansion plans.
According to the model, the fund works as a guarantor and can guarantee up to 80% of the financed amount, as a complementary guarantee to the contracted credit operations.
The line covers formalized businesses such as individual microentrepreneurs, microenterprises and small businesses.
