According to the Fire Department, the fire broke out shortly before 2 in the afternoon while northerly winds of 4-7 Beaufort were blowing at the site.
So far, 22 firefighters with 11 vehicles are operating at the scene, 2 Air Tractors were diverted on patrol and an Erickson, an AB215 arrive, followed by 3 CL 215, an Erickson and 2 Air tractors.
