e-EFKA: Issuance of insurance notification for transfer of property without a visit

The issuance of insurance information will be faster and easier for thousands of citizens who wish to transfer their propertiesas now the visit will not be required in its branch e-EFKA in case of debts.

According to the organization’s announcement, this became possible, as now only debts certified by the KEAO at the time of submission of the request will be taken into account.

Until now, at least three visits (two to Local Addresses and one to KEO) were required to record the debts of the trader, submit a request for granting debts and issue the debt withholding certificate.

Now, these three visits are abolished and their place is taken by electronic issuance of a debt certificate.

To receive the certificate, the interested party visits the website of e-EFKA (www.efka.gov.gr), the electronic debt certification service https://apps.ika.gr/eClearanceCertOrg/faces/secureAll/index.xhtmlusing the taxisnet codes, additionally registering his AMKA.

In cases where the trader wishes to reap the price and request security of the debt (e.g. registration of a mortgage on another property), then communication with the KEAO is carried out via e-mail and, exceptionally, a visit to branch.

At the same time, the method of payment of withheld amounts by notaries is automated. As pointed out in the announcement, the payment by the notaries of the amounts of debt withheld from the price was not only not automated, but in some cases it even required their individual consultations with the involved services of e-EFKA. Now, the process will be done automatically.
