Mônica Bergamo: João Pedro Stedile will make rice at MST festival in SP

The national coordinator of the MST (Landless Rural Workers Movement), João Pedro Stedile, will prepare a rice cart for the festival “A Esperança Vai Vencer o Medo”, in celebration of the six-year anniversary of Armazém do Campo SP. The unit is part of a network of 30 stores that sell products from settlements and camps across the country.

STAGE

The festival, which will take place on the 30th of this month, in the capital of São Paulo, is organized by political and social forces that support the pre-candidacy of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT). Among the confirmed attractions are master Tião Carvalho, Samba Camará, Pagode da Dessa and the carnival group CarnaLulaHaddad.
