University of Piraeus: Scientific partner of the Hotel Chamber of Greece

Scientific partner of the Hotel Chamber of Greece (H.E.E.) is now the University of Piraeus. Based on the cooperation protocol signed today by the president of X.E.E. Alexandros Vassilikos and the rector of the University of Piraeus, Professor Angelos Kotios, the agreement between X.E.E. and the University of Piraeus, is focused on the joint utilization of the capabilities of the two organizations to promote their goals.

In particular, the X.E.E.:

i. It will provide data and information at its disposal, with the aim of supporting the potential (faculty members, researchers and students) of the University of Piraeus in its academic work.

ii. It will provide the University of Piraeus with infrastructure and services in the fields of promotion and communication to cover needs related to its object of activity.

iii. It will support the events of the University of Piraeus within its capabilities.

iv. It will utilize the University of Piraeus as a scientific partner in matters related to its object of activity.

v. He will utilize the University of Piraeus in training actions for hoteliers and members of the chamber and in academic subjects related to his activity.

vi. It will assist in the networking of executives and scientific groups of the University of Piraeus with cooperating parties (bodies, programs, services, chambers, companies, clubs) of the X.E.E., with the aim of taking initiatives for the development and organization of new collaborations and related actions by submitting European and research programs in fields of common interest.

For its part, the University of Piraeus:

i. It will be a scientific partner of X.E.E. in matters related to the object of his activity.

ii. It will provide training infrastructure and will contribute to the information of hoteliers who are members of X.E.E. in objects related to the activity of X.E.E.

iii. It will provide data and information (studies, surveys) that will support the work of X.E.E and the Institute of Tourism Research and Forecasting (ITEP), which is the research body of the hotel industry and main partner of X.E.E.

iv. It will provide know-how and expertise in matters related to its object of activity, in support of X.E.E.’s activities, X.E.E.’s CapsuleT Travel & Hospitality Accelerator, as well as X.’s brand products. EU. “GREEK BREAKFAST” and “Boutique hotel”.

v. He will direct part of the academic research (diplomatic theses, etc.) to needs and research issues related to the activity of X.E.E. and ITEP.

vi. It will undertake the joint undertaking of initiatives for the development and organization of actions related to the joint submission of European and research programs in scientific fields of common scientific interest.

vii. It will ensure exhibition space, or exhibition at the time of X.E.E.’s sponsors. at PA.PEI events.

It is pointed out that for the implementation of the actions resulting from the cooperation protocol that was signed, separate agreements will be drawn up in which the subject of each cooperation will be specified. The formation of joint working groups is also envisaged.

The president of XEE, Alexandros Vassilikos, referring to the cooperation, made the following statement:
