The student of Kastritsiou High School was graded with 19.9, in Mathematics and Physics with 19.8 and in Presentation with 18.4, reaching 19,560 points.
The first to be admitted to the Faculty of Chemical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens was the paternal Eleni Dalaperahaving collected 19,560 points.
“When the message came about my admission to the school, and in fact in the first place, my excitement was very great, because it was something unexpectedEleni Dalapera, who graduated from the Kastritsiou High School in Patras, tells the Athens-Macedonian News Agency.
“When I started giving Panhellenic competitions, I didn’t think I would enter first School of Chemical Engineering, but after the grades were announced at the end of June, I thought there was such a possibility,” he adds.
Regarding the choice of the specific school, Eleni Dalapera tells APE – ME: “it was my personal decision, which I had made since the first year of high school, because it was the only way I had found to combine my love for the environment and chemistry, as well as my interest in biology.”
At the same time, Eleni Dalapera points out that “I was in a dilemma, between the chemical engineering school of the University of Patras and the National Technical University of Athens, because both schools are very good, but in the end I chose the E.M.P., because I think the courses are a little better are taught in Metsovio, especially in the fields of biology and biotechnology”.
Also, as he explains, “the NTUA provides the opportunity for a greater field of research activity in the field of biotechnology, but also for doctorates in universities abroad”.
At this point, Eleni Dalapera describes to APE – MPE the goals she has already set, when she completes her studies: “I want to get some doctorates in universities in Europe or the USA, with a criterion always in which one exactly university I will find research that interests me the most.”
Then she intends, as she says, “to get a research position either in some company or in some university”.
Eleni Dalapera had spoken to APE – MPE when the grades of the pan-Hellenic exams were announced at the end of June, having collected a high score, reaching 19,560 points.
Specifically, in Chemistry he was graded with 19.9, in Mathematics and Physics with 19.8 and in Presentation 18.4.
As he told APE – MPE, about how he managed to achieve high scores, “along with the organized study, I always found free time for me, with the exception of course of the last months, where I devoted myself fully to reading for the Panhellenic exams”.
