The police officer, taking advantage of his status as a sports coach, performed repeated sexual acts with the minor since at least January 2022
The Internal Affairs Service of the Security Forces proceeded yesterday with the arrest of a police officer for negligence and attracting children for sexual reasons.
Specifically, he is accused of sexual acts with minors or in front of them they turned 12 and not 15 yearsabusing minors in sexual acts and soliciting children for sexual reasons.
A complaint was filed against the minor and her parentsaccording to which the police officer, taking advantage of his capacity as a sports coach, repeatedly performed sexual acts with the minor from at least January 2022, while at least from May 2022, using a profile in an online application, he systematically attempted to seduce the minor in pornographic performances.
A relevant case file was created for the case, in the context of which the minor was ordered to be examined by a medical examiner, while in addition during the preliminary investigation it emerged that the above had made obscene gestures (groping) at the expense of another minor.
Searches followed at his home and vehicles, where he was also found a mass of digital evidence was seized (mobile phones, computers, video cameras, tablets, digital storage media, etc.).
The case file was submitted to the competent prosecuting authority and the case was referred to a main investigation, while subsequently a relevant warrant was issued under which the police officer was arrested.
The arrested person was taken to the competent prosecuting authority.
