As regards the image of the import bases, at University of Crete, the thread, as always, is cut by the Medicine of Crete with 18,150 points (-81 from 2021). The biggest drop occurred in the Department of Physics, this year the base is 12,160 points while last year it was 14,397 points (-2,237 points, a drop of 15.5%). We had a decrease in History and Archeology and in Sociology, in Rethymnon. Five Departments of the Foundation “caught” under the base.
In two of its five Departments, the Technical University of Crete he saw the bases go up and three down. The biggest decrease was of the order of 9% in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
In its eight Departments Hellenic Mediterranean University, the base is below 10,000 points. The biggest drop is in Social Work (-11.6%) and the biggest rise in Music Technology and Acoustics (+11.7%).
Regarding the vacancies, in the Department of Materials Science and Technology they reach 75% while half of them were filled in Physics.
In the Heraklionthere were no vacancies left in other Departments, apart from Physics and TETY, where we have a total of 102 vacancies.
In the Rethimno, the Departments of Sociology, Psychology and both Pedagogies were fully covered. As far as Philosophy is concerned, 21% of the places in Philology remained vacant, in History and Archeology 48%, in Economic Sciences 50% and in Political Science 26%.
In Rethymno, there are 308 vacancies in total, 105 in Economics, 69 in History, 43 in Philosophical and Social Studies, 53 in Political Sciences, 38 in Philology, which remains in high demand. The Department had requested 180 positions, 142 were filled, i.e. 80%. Historikon covered half of the positions, from 144 to 75, FKS from 117 covers 74, while its base fluctuates at low levels.
Finally, to a large extent, the positions of those admitted to the Technical University of Crete were filled. There are only 50% vacancies in one Department. This is Mineral Resources Engineering, where he has 34 new students out of the 68 he had requested.
At the same time, 6 of its 11 eleven Departments ELMEPA present almost 100% coverage of the places of admissions, while two other Departments of the University have coverage of over 80%.
