Peristeri femicide: 22-year-old to the investigator today – How he got away with it

The 22-year-old was arrested on Friday night in North Macedonia and admitted to the police that he killed the 17-year-old by covering her mouth and nose.

Today, at 10 am, the 22-year-old man from Pakistan who confessed to murdering 17-year-old Nicoleta, inside her home in Peristeri on August 1, is being brought before the investigator.

The 22-year-old was arrested on Friday night in North Macedonia and admitted to the police that he killed the 17-year-old by covering her mouth and nose.

It is worth noting that from the fingerprints examined by the police, it appears that they belong to two different names and the man has three different dates of birth reported to the police. He has worked in the past for drug cases, and he has filed two asylum applications that were rejected because the file was incomplete.

The way he escaped from Athens and Thessaloniki to North Macedonia is also under the microscope of ELAS. According to what has become known, he escaped from the Larissa station by train, switching his mobile phone on and off during the journey. A parallel investigation is underway to find out if he had any accomplices who helped him flee or stay somewhere.
