Initially, the 32-year-old was expected to go to the Rethymno Security, finally she gave a first statement to the policemen of the Heraklion Security Sub-Directorate, which was forwarded to Rethymno, while it is estimated that in the coming days she will be asked to testify additionally.

According to information in this first deposition she was not able to describe exactly the flow of events and what happened from her transfer from the tavern to the Anogion Health Center as she was in a state of intoxication. However, as he said, he has images which he describes in fragments.

The security of Rethymno was led to the arrest of the 33-year-old, with the following facts: firstly, that he is the one who took her to the Health Center, secondly, that he himself admitted that he had intercourse with the 32-year-old woman, making the claim that the intercourse took place of her own free will, and thirdly, forensic findings emerge that support the abuse of the 32-year-old, namely hacks, abrasions, bruises and even lacerations.
