Triandopoulos to SKAI: Within the day, the arogi.gov.gr platform for fire victims will be opened

Regarding the subsidized holiday program for the islands of Evia and Samos, North Evia – Samos Pass, the deputy minister announced that it will be extended until the end of October.

Within the day, the digital platform arogi.gov.gr will be opened for those affected by the fire, as announced to SKAI by the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister responsible for State Aid and Rehabilitation from Natural Disasters, Christos Triandopoulos. As he explained, the platform will be activated where citizens will get an advance until they submit a complete file.

Regarding the subsidized holiday program for the islands of Evia and Samos, North Evia – Samos Passthe deputy minister announced that it would be extended until the end of October.

“The program has lived up to expectations and the satisfaction was palpable,” he explained. 13,800 immaterial digital cards with a total cost of 2.7 million euros will be made available for North Evia and Samos, as the third phase of distribution of the North Evia-Samos Pass begins on August 25, with Mr. Triandopoulos urging citizens to get on the platform in time . “The program does not only concern accommodation, restaurants – cafes, but overall transportation,” he clarified. “We have committed at least 3,000 cards because everything left over from the previous ones will be added,” he noted.

For Northern Evia, he stated that the seven-year support program, a plan with a total budgetary impact of close to 300 million euros, is in full swing. “We also face problems structurally in the urban fabric with interventions and large projects. In North Evia, the anti-flooding projects will exceed 100 million euros,” said Mr. Triandopoulos, among others.
