Chania: The 22-year-old “bully” who attacked a 37-year-old is being prosecuted for attempted murder

The two “bullies” who attacked, stabbed and stole the car of a 37-year-old man in a parking lot in Chania crossed the prosecutor’s doorstep today at noon.

According to information from cretapost, the 22-year-old – who handed himself over to the authorities last night – was taken to the prosecutor who brought criminal charges against him for attempted murder, robbery and damage to foreign property.

He then requested and received a deadline from the investigator and is expected to apologize at noon on Monday.

At the same time, Mr 17 year old apologized today before the investigator. After his apology he was released on the conditions of being banned from leaving the country and appearing once a month at the police station.

The chronicle of the bloody incident

The bloody incident involving a 37-year-old victim occurred early on Tuesday when the unfortunate man, while going to pick up his car parked outside a well-known entertainment center, saw two unknown men who verbally assaulted him.

He got into his car and left the scene with the two perpetrators following him in their own vehicle and harassing him.

The 37-year-old stopped a few meters away and asked them again and a new fight began, which turned violent with one attacker pulling out a knife and wounding him in the leg, before entering the 37-year-old’s car and stealing it .

The victim alerted the authorities with an EKAV ambulance rushing to the scene and picking him up, taking him to the Chania hospital.

It is worth noting that the two “bullies” after stealing the 37-year-old’s car, abandoned it in a ditch in the area of ​​Chania, causing damage to it.

The police found it and handed it over to the 37-year-old.
