He was mildly ill for the last 7 days.

In the morning he was transported to the Emergency Department of the hospital showing weakness, diarrhea and symptoms of dehydration.

From the examinations they did, they found that he had suffered an ischemic attack, most likely from a coronavirus complication, and they decided to transport the child to the Children’s Hospital in Athens.

Unfortunately, the 14-year-old did not manage to be served as according to the announcement of the Lamia Hospital, she presented cardiopulmonary arrest and despite the prolonged efforts of the doctors, she ended up shortly before 5:30 in the afternoon.

Today 04/12/2021 at 09:30 am he arrived with EKAB, accompanied by his mother, a 14-year-old girl with reported Covid 19 disease, presenting with weakness, diarrhea and symptoms of dehydration. According to the received history, he had not been vaccinated against Covid-19 disease, he had been ill since 29/11/2021 and was under medication at home. Immediately based on a protocol, a clinical-laboratory and imaging test was performed and acute coronary syndrome was diagnosed. An immediate attempt was made to address the most serious clinical picture with the assistance of Emergency Doctors, Pediatricians, MSN, Anesthesiologists, ICU, with simultaneous communication with the Agia Sofia Children’s Hospital and EKAB, in order to stabilize clinically and be served safely.
Unfortunately, despite all the efforts, the girl presented cardiopulmonary arrest and despite the prolonged effort of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, she ended up at 17:26 p.m.
