Ministry of Education: The recruitment of 31,846 teachers as substitutes has been announced – Tables with names

Hiring 31,846 teachers of Primary and Secondary Education, in Special Education and Education, in General Education and in Music Schools, as well as members of Special Educational Staff (EEP) and Special Auxiliary Staff (ESP) as temporary deputies with a fixed-term Private Law employment relationship for the academic year 2022-2023, the Ministry of Education announced.

More specifically, they are hired as temporary deputies:

In Primary education:

a) 8,688 teachers of EAE branches/specialties and general education branches in special education and training (EEA) and

b) 9,575 teachers of branches/specialties in general education.

At Secondary education:

a) 2,200 teachers of EAE branches/specialties and general education branches in special education and training (EEA),

b) 5,981 teachers of branches/specialties in general education, and

c) 254 PE79.01 and TE16 teachers in Music Schools for the teaching of music specializations

Members of Special Educational Staff (SEP) and Special Support Staff (SSP):

a) 1,475 in the School Units of Special Education and Education (SMEAE)

b) 2,180 in Specialized Educational Support (parallel)

c) 720 in the Interdisciplinary Assessment, Counseling and Support Centers (KEDASY)

d) 741 in the School Educational Support Networks (SDEY) in KEDASY

Also, 1 deputy is available for recruitment in specialized educational support in a Church School.

In addition, 32 substitutes for branches/specialties of Secondary Education were made available for recruitment at the Sivitanidio Public School of Arts and Vocations, by decision of the relevant Board of Directors.

Recruits must report and undertake duty from Monday 5 to Tuesday 6 September 2022.
