Special rate to students who gave Panhellenic in 2022 from areas affected by natural disasters and additional places in schools announced the Ministry of Education. The special arrangement will be valid only for this year, while the details of the procedure will be announced in an announcement to be issued in the near future.

The Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs announces that, according to Ministerial Decision No. Φ.253.2/103868/A5/26-08-22, which will be published in the Official Gazette, especially and only for the academic year 2022-2023, the students of the last year and the graduates of General and Vocational High Schools a) of the Municipality of Mantoudi-Limni-Agia Anna, b) of the Municipality of Istiaia-Edipsos, c) of the Municipality of Minoa-Pediada, d) of the Municipality of Archano-Asterousia, e) of the Community of Tzermiadon of the Municipality of Oropedi Lasithi, f) of the Municipality of Anogeia, g) of the Municipality of Florina, h) of the Municipality of Amyntaio and i) of the Municipality of Prespa, who have been affected by natural disasters and who submitted a declaration application and participated in the first nationwide examinations after the incident which were held in June 2022, are admitted in excess of the number of admissions to Schools, Departments and admission directions of A.E.I. and the Supreme Ecclesiastical Academies (A.E.A.). This right applies to the students of the last grade of the school year 2021-2022 as well as to the graduates, who submitted an Application-Declaration to the High Schools of the above regions and participated in the national exams of the year 2022.
The above regulation also applies to students and graduates of GEL and EPAL, who live permanently in the above areas and participated in the 2022 nationwide exams even if they submitted an application-declaration to participate in a high school in another area or in another Directorate of Secondary Education.
The special percentage is assigned to candidates per High School category as follows:
-For the candidates of the nationwide exams of Daily GEL, a percentage of 0.93% is given in excess of the number of admissions in their category in Schools, Departments and admission directions of A.E.I. and the Supreme Ecclesiastical Academies (A.EA.A).
-For the candidates of the nationwide exams of Daily EPAL a percentage of 1.64% is given in excess of the number of admissions in their category in Schools, Departments and admission directions of A.E.I.
-For the candidates of the nationwide exams of Vespers GEL, a rate of 0.66% is attributed to the excess of the number of entrants in their category in Schools, Departments and admission directions of A.E.I. and the Supreme Ecclesiastical Academies (A.EA.A).
-For the candidates of the nationwide exams of Esperino EPAL a percentage of 0.36% is given in excess of the number of admissions in their category in Schools, Departments and admission directions of A.E.I.
