Exarchia: Three people who attacked police forces were arrested

According to ELAS, the three arrested, participating in a group of about 100 people, with some of them having their facial features covered, attacked a platoon on duty in Exarchion square, throwing glass bottles at them.

Three citizens (two 27-year-olds and a 22-year-old man) were arrested in the early hours of Sunday at the junction of Emmanuel Benakis and Arachovis streets in Exarchia, by police officers of the Sub-Directorate for the Restoration of Order. and for refusing to submit to a dactyloscopy.

According to ELAS, the three arrested, participating in a group of about 100 people, with some of them having their facial features covered, attacked a platoon on duty in Exarchion square, throwing glass bottles at them. During the attack they were verbally abusive.

The defendants strongly resisted their arrest, with one of the two 27-year-old men again attacking the officers by throwing glass bottles at them until he was restrained.

Those arrested with the case filed against them by the Sub-Directorate of State Security of the Attica Security Directorate, were taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Athens.
