Today the cocktail party for the launch of the book “Os Sabores e os Saberes de Danusia Barbara” takes place in São Paulo. Written by Wanderlino Teixeira Leite Netto, it tells the story of journalist Danusia Barbara, one of the pioneers of gastronomy criticism in Brazil. In the opinion of chef Laurent Suaudeau, “Danusia is the godmother of all carioca cooks of yesterday and today”. The book, by Cassará Editora, has 528 pages and costs R$ 90. The launch will be at Livraria Travessa, at Shopping Iguatemi (Av. Brg. Faria Lima, 2232 – Jardim Paulistano), starting at 7pm.
