It is recalled that Thalia, who was a freshman at the Naval Cadet School, fell ill during the summer training cruise, after a meal she consumed at a fast food restaurant in Tunisia.

In her hometown, Larissa, she is expected to Thalia’s body will be transported this afternoon by C-130the 19-year-old naval cadet, who died last week in an Italian hospital after an autopsy was completed.

Her body is accompanied by her parents, while tomorrow her funeral will take place in Larissa.

It is recalled that Thalia, who was a freshman at the Naval Cadet School, fell ill during the summer training cruise, after a meal she consumed at a fast food restaurant in Tunisia.

Initially, the 19-year-old presented a fever of up to 38.5, however, when she was transferred to a hospital in Naples, swelling was observed in her legs and the health staff considered it to be a symptom of a possible urinary tract infection. However, her health condition deteriorated rapidly within a few hours, she was admitted to the ICU and passed away a day later.
