Prosecutor’s investigation was ordered by the Prosecutor’s Office of the Supreme Court for the publication of confidential documents of the EYP from a newspaper last Sunday.
The Prosecutor’s Office of the Supreme Court, according to information, requested the application for the publisher of the newspaper (this is the newspaper “To Bam”) of the Auto-Procedure, i.e. his immediate arrest.
The inquiry ordered is into the fact that the documents are marked “confidential”. The offense under investigation is that of Article 252 of the Criminal Code regarding illegal use of official confidentiality, an offense punishable by our criminal legislation.
It is noted that personally the Prosecutor of the Supreme Court Isidoros Dogiakosconducts investigation into the leak of data on the monitoring of Nikos Androulakis with a legal connection from the EYP but also of other persons, such as the journalist Thanasis Koukakis. At the same time, the prosecuting authorities are conducting investigations into the substance of the Androulakis-Koukaki complaints, for their follow-up either legally or illegally.
