Two minor girls who were visiting with their family in Ilia, rescued a suffering puppy with sarcoptic mange, which is no more than 8 months old and had been roaming the streets for months looking for food.
The girls fed it and asked their parents to help it. They notified the animal welfare association “Noiazoami” of Kresten.
The animal welfare members along with the family located and caught the starving dog with a special trap.
“Even though the incidents are countless, even though there is no longer a shelter, we could not leave this little one like this,” the animal welfare association reports.
The vet found that the puppy has not yet replaced all of its teeth.
“One of my babies was dying from sarcoptic mange and hunger. A baby dog who walked around like a ghost and no one paid any attention to him. Except for the two little girls… There were times when on the veterinary table he couldn’t stand up,” describes the animal welfare organization that named the puppy Amos.
