The driver of the vehicle carrying the migrants did not comply with the stop sign of the police and continued driving dangerously, while after stopping the car he fled on foot to be located and subsequently arrested in a mountainous area of ​​Evros.
On the same day, the second trafficker was arrested on Egnatia Road, Alexandroupolis-Komotini. The driver-smuggler, who lacks a driver’s license, allegedly transported three immigrants illegally in an ICHE car. Those arrested will be taken to the Alexandroupoli First Instance Prosecutor’s Office.
