Production of the Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2022.
THE Aston Martin has unveiled the new V12 Vantage Roadster – a stunning limited-edition model that combines the high performance of the most powerful Aston Martin Vantage ever built with the unrivaled driving sensation of an open car.
It is equipped with the powerful Twin-Turbo V12 5,200 cc engine, which produces a deafening noise in its effort to produce 700 horsepower.
Accelerating from standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, the V12 Vantage Roadster ranks first in open sports car performance.
To further reduce overall weight, the V12 Vantage Roadster’s front bumper, hood, front fenders and side skirts are made from carbon fiber. The rear bumper and other parts were made from a lightweight composite material.
Additional weight savings have been made by adopting a lightweight battery and a special dual outlet exhaust system in the centre, made from 1mm lightweight stainless steel.
Production of the Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2022, with first deliveries scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2022.
Only 249 units were planned to be produced.
