by

This is the KEP-ePass, which is available through rantevou.kep.gov.gr and aims to provide faster, simpler and better service from Citizen Service Centers

Citizens and businesses have the possibility to reserve a priority number for service with a physical presence in 31 KEPs of the country.

This is the KEP-ePass, which is available through rantevou.kep.gov.gr and aims to provide faster, simpler and better service from Citizen Service Centers.

In this way, citizens can via their computer or mobile phone:

  • to reserve a priority number for their service and
  • see in real time which number is being served and what the estimated waiting time is until their turn arrives.

KEP-ePass is part of the digital modernization of the KEP network, starting its pilot operation from 31 Citizen Service Centers, while it is planned to be extended to other KEPs soon.

The action is implemented by the General Secretariat of Digital Governance and Process Simplification and the General Secretariat of Public Administration Information Systems. At the same time, equipment has been installed in the KEP area, which includes:

  • priority number issuers and
  • screens showing the current priority number.

Management and calling of priority numbers by KEP employees will be done through the KEP Visits Platform environment, in a special section that has been added.

The priority number reservation process is very simple:

  1. First, the citizen enters rantevou.kep.gov.gr with his Taxisnet passwords and selects “New appointment”, specifying the county and municipality where he wishes to be served.
  2. Then, he chooses the store that serves him from the list of available KEP. The KEPs included in the KEP-ePass action are marked “SAME DAY AND BY APPOINTMENT”.
  3. Following the steps on the platform, the screen shows the first priority number available, the number being served at the moment and the estimated waiting time.
  4. By pressing “Confirm” and entering his contact details (name, phone and email address), the citizen receives an email with the details of his reservation.

It is reminded that the platform for visits to KEPs rantevou.kep.gov.gr has been available for more than a year. Initially, the platform allowed the citizen to schedule an appointment for service by KEP on a specific day and time. From the end of June the platform was upgraded, additionally providing the possibility of ePass.
