First and best heading for victory is Hyundai’s Thierry Neville after day 3 of the ECO Rally Acropolis.

The Belgian was fast and unerring, leading by 27.9 seconds. Second follows Ott Tanak, while third is Dani Sordo.

Sébastien Lemb and Esapeka Lapi, despite being on the podium with great performances, got to know the harsh face of the Greek mountains after being forced to abandon. The same also happened with Gus Greensmith, while championship leader Cale Rovanpera although he finished, lost a lot of time and will hardly be in the points.

The conditions were particularly difficult for everyone, as the special routes were full of dust, dirt and stones. This, combined with the heat, made things more difficult, which was reflected in the statements of the protagonists. “The stages were too long with too many turns”, were the words of Emil Lindholm.
