As Apple plans to celebrate the iPhone this year, preparing to unveil its latest smartphones, it will return to a live, in-person launch event for the first time since the pandemic.

For fans outside of California, Apple will stream the launch event on Apple.com and YouTube.

What will Apple reveal in its presentation of the iPhone 14?

Apple will announce four new iPhone models at the event. These include the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro, as well as two Max or full-size versions of each device.

Apple may also release updates for other products, such as the “Pro” version of the Apple Watch.

In recent years, Apple has released four different iPhone models. A standard version, a smaller ‘Mini’ version, a more expensive ‘Pro’ version and a larger ‘Pro Max’ premium version.

Rumor has it that in 2022, the smallest member of the family will retire and move on to a larger version of the standard iPhone.

This means users can choose the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 or 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, or they can choose the “Max” (6.7-inch) version.

The idea was prompted by leaked images on the Chinese social networking site Weibo showing the physical form of the upcoming device.

Aluminum molds can be designed to provide precise box dimensions to other manufacturers. This means that iPhone 14 cases can sell well from the moment a new device is released.

While it doesn’t look that different from current iPhone models, there will be minor changes such as the rear camera bump and the overall thickness of the phone’s chassis to account for the difference in battery size.

When can the iPhone 14 be purchased?

Even if the iPhone 14 and all other variants were announced today, that doesn’t mean we can get our hands on it soon.

There is usually a period of 10 days to two weeks after the announcement before the phone goes on sale.

Also, if Apple is unable to ship, it could be delayed by supply chain issues in China.

What is the price of the iPhone 14?

The iPhone 14 could cost around £800 and the more advanced iPhone 14 Pro closer to £1,000.

The larger devices are expected to get even more expensive, approaching £1,100.

And these could be entry-level prices with minimal storage on the device.

For reference, the current flagship iPhone 13 Pro Max starts at £1,049 with 128GB and goes up to £1,549 with 1TB.

What network will the iPhone 14 serve?

The iPhone is the most recognizable smartphone on the market, and as a result, you can be sure that it will be compatible with all major networks.

All the major UK networks, including EE, Three, Vodafone and O2, will offer future iPhones to customers who want to upgrade.
