The 35-year-old boxer on Ekavis Street, in Galatsi, became the target of a mafia attack yesterday afternoon.
While entering a gym – club boxing – he was attacked by two strangers who were riding a motorcycle. He received at least four bullets and exhaled within minutes.
New information comes to light and reveals that the victim had a close relationship with another boxer, who was also killed.
Specifically, the 35-year-old was under the protection of his 58-year-old “uncle”, Kefala, as was his pseudonym, who was murdered on May 15 outside a canteen in Metamorfosi.
It is noted that the 35-year-old had been busy again in the beginning in 2011, when his name along with that of his “uncle” was found in cases for blackmailing shopkeepers in West Attica.
In fact, his “uncle” allegedly had relations with people who had been murdered in the past.
Police sources explain that this is another death contract between the ruthless war of the members of the “greek mafia”
This is the third boxer to be killed in the last 7 months.
