Lawsuit against the former commander of the EYP Giannis Roubatis was testified by Stergios Pitsiorlas, former president of TAIPED. In particular, in his written statement he states: “This morning, as I had previously announced, through my representative Mr. Christos Mylonopoulos, I filed a lawsuit against the former commander of the EYP Mr. Roubatis for what he said and did against me.”

It is recalled that Mr. Piciorlas had made known his intention to appeal to justice, with a written statement, after what became known from his testimony Yannis Roubatis in the Commission of Inquiry, while then through Sky had he declared shocked by the revelations. His statement was as follows:

“After the collapse of the false excuses for the alleged indirect monitoring of me during the period when I was the President of TAIPED, today Mr. Rubatis – according to what is published in the media – admitted for the first time in front of the parliamentary inquiry committee that he directly monitored me and using unabashed lies carried out a vile operation of defiling and morally exterminating me” highlights features and adds:

“I have already instructed my lawyer to proceed with all legal means before the Greek justice system so that the truth will shine forth and the responsibilities for this incredible story will be given where they are due.”
