The 55-year-old who was arrested following a complaint that he performed a sexual act against an 8-year-old girl in Chalastra, Thessaloniki, was referred to a regular investigator to apologize.
The prosecutor brought criminal proceedings against him for a sexual act against a minor under the age of 12 and subsequently referred him to apologize to an investigator, from whom he received a deadline and remains in custody.
As the police announced, the minor was playing yesterday afternoon with her friends in front of the 55-year-old’s house, when he called her to him, under the pretext of helping her with her game. Afterwards, and while he was talking to her – always according to the police – he committed a lewd act against her.
The minor allegedly confided the incident to her parents, who in turn contacted the Thessaloniki Sub-Directorate for the Protection of Minors of the Hellenic Police, and the 55-year-old was arrested.
