The Mixed Jury Court of Lassithi imposed a life sentence on the 28-year-old Romanian for the murder of the 39-year-old farmer that occurred in August 2021 in Petrokefali.

The unfortunate man was fatally wounded in the abdomen, face and hands while the 27-year-old fled in an unknown direction.
The police were called to the scene and began investigations to identify the perpetrator. Within a few hours, the police investigated the case and arrested the 27-year-old, who confessed to his act.
