The heavy rain that started shortly after 1 pm caused problems on many roads of Kalamata.

Although the rainfall did not last long, it was enough to flood central streets of the city, such as Frantzi Street, Akrita Street, Faron etc. according to tharrosnews.gr.

According to information so far, the fire service has received at least 10 calls for pumping water, mainly underground, both in the center of the city and in its surroundings, but without having to intervene in all cases.
