Chania: The alleged perpetrators of the rape of a 21-year-old tourist received a deadline to apologize

According to information from Creta24, immediately after his apology, the 23-year-old requested and received a deadline to apologize on Thursday morning.

The 19-year-old alleged perpetrator was also given a deadline to apologize on Thursday morning, who appeared before the Prosecutor at noon on Tuesday.

The 19-year-old handed himself over to the Chania Police Department on Tuesday morning, as he is said to be the second perpetrator of the gang-rape of the 21-year-old Swedish woman.

From his side, the 23-year-old claims that the sexual act took place with the consent of the woman, while as it became known today, the conclusion of the medical examiner who examined the 21-year-old speaks of “rape, by nature”.

It is recalled that according to the 21-year-old’s complaint, she was having fun in a bar in Chania, early on Saturday, when she met the two men.

After she had consumed a large amount of alcohol, the two young men offered to take her to the hotel where she was staying, with her complaining that instead of the hotel they took her to a deserted location where they raped her successively and then abandoned her.

The woman reported to the police that she was under the influence of alcohol and was unable to react.
