Temporary traffic regulations on the National Road in Fthiotida

By Decision of the Police Directorate of Fthiotida, temporary traffic regulations will be implemented, with the aim of smooth, safe and orderly road traffic, as well as to avoid causing a traffic accident, due to maintenance work on the IT equipment of the Stylida tunnels with a bilateral traffic diversion of the A.TH.E.

Specifically, the following will be applied:

Complete bilateral blockade of the A.Th.E. Motorway. between the A/K Agia Marina and the A/K Achinos – Karavomylos:

In the direction to Thessaloniki, between the A/K Agia Marina (exit at X/T 223+000) and the A/K Achinos – Karavomylos (re-entrance at X/T 241+300), on Tuesday 11-10-2022, on Wednesday 12-10-2022 and Thursday 13-10-2022, between 08:00 and 18:30.

In the direction to Athens, between the Achinos – Karavomylos Interchange (exit at X/TH 241+500) and the Agia Marina Interchange (re-entry at X/TH 223+000), on Tuesday 10-18-2022, on Wednesday 19-10-2022 and Thursday 20-10-2022, between 08:00 and 18:30.

After exiting the Motorway in both directions, drivers will follow an alternative route through the old road network, (Skarfeia – Rahes section). It is pointed out that the alternative route will be adjusted on site (covering of permanent direction signs) and the addition of appropriate temporary markings at the height of the junction of the vertical road of A/K Stylidas – Karavomylos (X/Θ 231+900) with N.E.O. ., as the Stylidas – Karavomylou A/C, which is inserted between the Agia Marina A/C section to the Karavomylos – Achinos A/C, will be closed.

Blocking the entrance branch to the A.T.E. Motorway, in the direction of Thessaloniki, at the A/K Agia Marina, on Tuesday 11-10-2022, on Wednesday 12-10-2022 and on Thursday 13-10-2022, during the hours 08:00 to 18:30.

Blocking of the right part of the exit branch from the A.TH.E. Motorway, of the A/K Agia Marina in the direction of Thessaloniki, up to 50 m. before its junction with the vertical road, on Tuesday 11-10-2022, on Wednesday 12-10-2022 and Thursday 13-10-2022, between 08:00 and 18:30.

Blocking of the entrance branch to the A.T.E. Motorway, in the direction of Thessaloniki, at the Stylidas – Karavomylou motorway, on Tuesday 11-10-2022, on Wednesday 12-10-2022 and on Thursday 13-10-2022 , during the hours 08:00 to 18:30. In addition, the vertical road will be preceded by a sign “Motorway to Thessaloniki closed”.

Blocking of the entrance branch to the A.T.E. Motorway, in the direction of Athens, at the Stylidas – Karavomylou A/C, at the height of the intersection of the vertical road with the entrance branch to Thessaloniki, on Tuesday 10-18-2022, on Wednesday 19-10-2022 and Thursday 20-10-2022, between 08:00 and 18:30. In addition, the vertical road will be preceded by a sign “Motorway to Athens closed”.

It is noted that the traffic regulations will be temporary and will be implemented according to the indicated days and times.
