Advocate of the 12-year-old girl: In the next few hours, the girl will give a supplementary statement

In the next few hours, today or tomorrow, the 12-year-old from Kolonos will give an additional statement, according to what her lawyer, Aspasia Tarahopoulou, said outside the courts, where at this time the two defendants, Michos and Sofianidis, are apologizing to the investigator.

According to what Ms. Tarahopoulou said, three lawyers refused to represent themMr. Chronopoulos was appointed ex officio, the apology is in progress and the accused will respect the right to remain silent.

“The developments are shocking, I heard her lady who came before she gave a statement to the investigating officer and I know that now this woman is in GADA and giving a statement to the juvenile department. I can’t tell you more” he added and added that the woman’s testimony is valid.

“I appreciate that there is some basis to her allegations and you understand that this is a shocking fact, I have a feeling that this fact is true,” he said.

He added that he had contact with the child: “The child is now confused, he says things, then he says other things, he hides things… The child is ashamed! It’s not in good shape,” said the lawyer.

The 12-year-old, according to what Ms. Tarahopoulou said, will give a supplementary statement in the next few hours, today or tomorrow, to the juvenile department and there she is expected to tell everything.

Mrs. Tarahopoulou said that she does not know if the little girl has identified 10 people and that she has not given any other testimony apart from the first ones.

The 12-year-old’s lawyer said the girl did not know if there were other children being extradited.
